Responses

Well. I didn't get the responses I was hoping for, but

APRIL FOOL'S!!!

And I know I'm late saying it too, but I was waiting for people to respond!

Thing is though, I really recieved a "Harvard Acceptance Letter", except, it was an April Fool's joke played on me. And I didn't know it.

I filled out all the paperwork to apply to Harvard, and was going to apply, as a joke, but decided it wasn't worth it to pay the fee to a school I knew I wouldn't get accepted to. So, when I got this email, I thought it was legit...almost. The only thing I was skepticl (sp???) about was that is was from a gmail account.

And then my friend, who is a senior, got one too. (I forgot it was April Fools') She figured it was just fake, I was still semi-convinced. And being the person I am, I had to email Harvard and ask them if this was legit or not (which of course...it wasn't). But then my other friend, who is a Junior, comes by and my friend Tessa and I tell her we got "accepted" to Harvard, and she is like...Me too! Then we know something is going on, and she proceeds to tell us that it was an April Fools' joke. Oh man did I feel stupid then. Remember, I had already emailed Harvard. Not the email address that sent me the "letter" but the REAL Harvard. Yeah. I was feeling pretty stupid. So I proceed to read to the VERY END of the letter, where it states: PS: Happy April Fools' Day!

Oh man was I mad. When I found out who it was, I was gonna do something to them!

Tessa then goes around, telling the ENTIRE school, that me, Andrea Busath, fell for the Harvard joke. Oh man did I want to curl up into a shell and hide for the rest of the day!

The best part was though, that night, I told my dad I got into Harvard, and he totally believed me!!! It was sooooooo funny. He couldn't believe that he fell for it.

So to Julie, you were right, this wasn't real.

But to Jenny! APRIL FOOL's!!!

Okay, so I don't know ANYONE who's been accepted to Harvard, but hey, Andrea...I think you'd make a great addition to their student body...there loss! You should have applied just so you could turn them down!

"their" loss. (It's the teacher in me - self editing, although a little late.)

I wasn't sure if I should believe or not, because it wouldn't surprise me at all if you got into Harvard. And I must say I'm relieved to know you will still be here, close to us.
