Well, I got a letter from BYU, but it wasn't what I was hoping for. It wasn't an admittance, nor deniance letter. It was a letter saying my application has been put in their "On Hold" pile. They said that they need more time to consider my application and compare it to other applicants, which isn't always a good thing. So...they said they will make their final decision on or around MARCH 15!!!! So it looks like now I won't know till March, which is really hard because my best friend here in China has already been accepted to BYU, and my other best friend who was supposed to be a Senior this year and applied for BYU over the summer and got in is already there. So these next 3 1/2 months are going to be torture. Unless they for some reason decide to accept/deny me before then, which would be awesome. I just want to know whether or not i have somewhere to go next year, or if I need to start looking at other schools, which would be a big pain.
So that is the scoop about BYU.

That totally stinks! I'm like you, I would just rather know so I can make other plans if I have to. Good Luck and keep busy. Try not to think about it too much.

how frustrating to have to wait. good luck! at least you get to to to New Zealand soon and get your mind off it.
